“Podaj dalej / taniec” is a culture animation programme addressed to young people aged 13-18 aimed at promoting social education and the idea of a civic society via dance and performance techniques. The ”Podaj dalej / taniec” project consists of artistic workshops for a group of young people aged 13 to 18 with different social and cultural backgrounds. The  ”PODAJ DALEJ” (www.podajdalej.waw.pl) programme has been held since 2012 and has been enthusiastically received by both its participants, teachers and the audiences of the performances staged at the end of each edition of the project, both the young and older audiences. The project made it to the finals of the competition for the best non-governmental initiative S3KTOR 2012 in the “Culture” category.

Two youth groups working with different techniques participated in the edition held for the Dance Art Center in Warsaw entitled ”Podaj dalej / taniec”

Sztuka Nova Group of young performers aged 13 to 18 / run by Dawid Żakowski / Sztuka Nowa Kolektyw (physical theatre technique) – young, talented performance selected for the project in an audition. The group members work in the areas of theatre, contemporary dance, performance and drama writing.

HOTELOKO group of young performers aged 14 to 17 run by Agata Życzkowska / Hoteloko movement makers (performance technique) – young talented dancers and performers selected to the project in an audition. The group members practice contemporary dance, jazz, modern, acrobatics and ballroom dancing, e.g. in the MBB dance company.



Actress, performer, director, producer. She graduated from the Acting Department of the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Lodz (2001). From the beginning, associated with physical theater in the activities on the border of theater, dance and performance: she took part in many workshops with students of Jerzy Grotowski (Eugenio Barba: Odin Week, ISTA; Abani Biswas: Milon Mela, Jairo Cuesta and James Sloviak: New World Performance Laboratory; Bruce Myers and Toshi Tsuchitor: actors Peter Brook, Raúl Iaiza Teatro La Madrugada from Milan) and contact improvisation workshops / Ray Chung / within the Warsaw Flow. She directed a dance performance: Forefathers, chor. Beata Wojciechowska within the Warsaw Dance Scene 2012. She also participated as a performer, among others, in the play The Show Must Go On chor. Jérôme Bel / Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw (2011) and as a performer in the project Family Affair by Italian collective Zimmerfrei, within the Warsaw Dance Scene 2015, in the National Audiovisual Institute.
For several years she has worked with the Body/Mind Foundation as a coordinator of the Body/Mind Festival and the Warsaw Dance Scene: she has realized as the producer the project You Kant Dance chor. Magdalena Przybysz.

In 2011, she founded the HOTELOKO theater, where she completed several projects as a producer, actress and performer, including performance of Fri physical theater Laboratory of Ludic No. 2 in collaboration with the Enczima Teatro Spanish group (2011), as well as the performance selfe (2014) and Tomorrow: birthday (2015). She directed also two performances of an artistic-social character new liberation (2015) and Syrena herbem twym zwodnicza / RZECZ O WOLNOŚCI (2016).

Dance theatre actress. Graduate of the Stanisław Wyspiański Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków, Dance Theatre Department in Bytom. She took part in numerous workshops in many different dance techniques such as contemporary dance, the Polish technique of contemporary dance, floor work, hip-hop, house, voguing, wacking, locking, popping, dancehall, salsa and breakdance. She performer in the open air show Galop by the Sopot Dance Theatre. As a student she collaborated with Rafał Urbacki on Bloki i Familoki – Elektro kabaret,Erynie niech zostaną za drzwiami – a performance held as part of the Drugi Obieg event at the Stary Theatre and Gatunki Chronione – a performative documentary. Together with other students in her year she created performances such as Wilk z Wulfrath and Les intelligent produced and managed by Brian Michaels as part of the Biennale 2017 festival. A dance theatre performance entitled KOD directed by Sobieraj and with her choreography was presented at various festivals including ProContra (Independent Theatre Festival in Szczecin) and the FamaFestiwal where she won an award in the stage shows category. Sobieraj completed a graduation diploma in dance for a dance theatre performance entitled Bezdech directed by and with the choreography created by Sylwia Hefczyńska-Lewandowska and a graduation diploma in acting for Bal manekinów directed by Jerzy Stuhr. Her most recent activities include performances in the Daframestracja series by LASEM group and participation in the Re: Rosas project which was the final event of the & exhibition held at the Art Museum in Łódź. The exhibition was curated by Thibaut de Ruyter and choreographed by Izabela Szostak. She collaborates with Dawid Żakowski on the “PODAJ DALEJ” project.



Director, actor and theatre instructor. Co-founder or the Sztuka Nowa Association and the Physical Theatre Workshop operating as part of the LUB/LAB laboratory space in Warsaw. As part of the activities of the Association and the Physical Theatre Workshop he carries out professional research of theatre techniques and practices in the area of international theatre exchange. In the years 1997–2007 he collaborated with Piotr Borowski as an actor and assistant director. As a theatre instructor he runs regular classes for the students of Roma Gąsiorowska’s aktorStudio and for young adults at the Municipal Culture Centre in Sochaczew and at the CPK culture centre in the Praga Południe district in Warsaw.
